Password Box

The Password Box displays a text box where entered characters are hidden, so you can securely enter a password. When you create a Password Box, you can enter tool tip text.

Create a Password Box

  1. Go to Presentation > Workspaces.

  2. Expand a Workspace Maintenance Unit and then selectComponents.

  3. Click Create Dashboard Component. The Create Dashboard Component window opens.

  4. Select Password Box and click the OK button.

  1. In Component Properties, enter a name. Optionally, enter text that displays as a tool tip.

  1. Click theSave button. The password box component displays in the Components list.

  1. Add the password box component to the dashboard and then run the dashboard.
